WHAT IS PHLEBOTOMY?

Phlebotomy is not only the practice of  placing a needle in the vein, but it is a skill that a person must build on.  Phlebotomy is used to collect  blood samples, and is also called by many a blood draw or venipuncture. Blood work is a very helpful tool  for physician's while  diagnosing and/or treating their patients for many medical conditions. After the collection the blood is sent to the laboratory for testing. However, phlebotomy in the past has been performed primarily  in medical practices/facilities; but thanks now to a new structure of phlebotomy you can now have it done in the privacy of you own home or office.

Welcome to Mobile Phlebotomy!

WHY MOBILE PHLEBOTOMY?

Today convenience plays a huge role in everyday life. For many people between working and taking care of the family it's hard to find time for lab work.
Also, the elderly population, physically challenged or handicapped, and people with a terminal illness can benefit from using the services of a  mobile phlebotomist; by  allowing it to be performed in their environment.

Mobile phlebotomy and Stress

Often, having blood drawn in the comfort of ones home/ or office helps reduce stress and anxiety. Especially for small children, but people of all ages can benefit from reduction of stress or anxiety. Mobile phlebotomy can be a comforting way of drawing blood and can soothe some fears of needles.
